Rhythmix in Schools
Rhythmix currently work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Hertfordshire and North London.
We currently offer the following facilities to schools:
In the following: Dance, Drama, Music and Singing/Choir
We also run PPA sessions involving children in dance and drama, or expanding their singing and music knowledge. We also are available for special events, and often work alongside our schools for choir and music concerts, plays and assemblies to help to relieve the pressure off of teachers!
We offer the facility to run individual music tuition in schools and have a range of professional music tutors available to teach piano, guitar, violin etc.
With our dance lessons and clubs we have the facility to examine the children through the I.D.T.A. as an optional extra! All our sessions work towards end of term performances, whether you chose a music, dance or drama session from Rhythmix we are passionate to ensure the children are always working towards showing off what they have learnt to either other members of the school, their peers, or their parents.
Rhythmix believe that dance, drama and music should be accessable to all children, and have been working towards getting children involved in the arts since 2011!
Rhythmix also has the facility to run fitness sessions for children. We have a range of qualified coaches able to run the following sessions in schools:
Yoga, Boxercise, Circuit Training, StreetFit Aerobics, Aerobics.. and plenty more.
We often run these as a part of the children's PE lessons to break up the usual PE curriculum and try to get the pupils participating in something a little different. We can also run these as club activities!
This scheme has been popular with schools running the Duke of Edinburgh scheme as it targets the 'physical skill' part of the assesment.
We're proud embassadors for We Move, She Moves, Buzzee Bodies, Active Students and This Girl Can and have been campaigning to get more children involved in fitness acrtivies since 2010!
